Public Interest Law Society (PILS)
In the upcoming year, A. Basse will serve as the Education & Youth Outreach Chair. She participated in the Spring 2025 Day of Service by volunteering with Cat Haven to help clean and care for the animals. During her 1L year, A. Basse acted as the Website Liaison for PILS as well.
Louisiana Sea Grant
A. Basse currently serves as a Law & Policy Legal intern with LA Sea Grant. Legal interns act as research assistants to the Director and Research Associate. They conduct research and produce documents on natural resource, ocean, and coastal law issues.
ALA Louisiana Girls State
Since 2020, A. Basse has served as a Program Associate for the ALA Louisiana Girls State Program. This staff role is a behind the scenes job in which she worked on communication, movement of delegates, housing issues, merchandise, as well as selecting the finalist for National competition.
LSU Judicial Branch
A. Basse is currently serving as an Associtate Justice on the University Court. The University Court is the highest court of the judicial branch and hears appeals and issues advisory inquiries on questions of law within the Student Government documents.
Bicentennial of the 1825 Louisiana Civil Code Conference
A. Basse volunteered with the Center of Civil Law Studies to help host the Bicentennial Conference this year. She aided in program set up, lead attendees between sessions, and helped with nightly cleanup.
Race Judicata
A. Basse ran the Race Judicata 5k in Spring 2025. The joint race between Tulane, Loyola, and LSU is a charity based race with proceeds going toward Disability Rights Louisiana.
